Hi All

Don't know if you've heard, but Damien will be headlining "The Light of the Cross Festival" for the Catholic Diocese of Wollongong's World Youth Day events during the Journey of the Cross and Icon.

The event is being held on Friday 4 April 2008 at the WIN Entertainment Centre in Wollongong in front of an audience of 5,000.

Tickets are only $10 (helping young people from Kiribati get to World Youth Day 2008) and will go on sale at Ticketek on 4 March.

Get in quick cause it's gonna sell out very quickly.

Check out the Wollongong World Youth Day website for more infomation. See you there!

No worries Braffy! Thanks for helping us get the message out. It's gonna be a great night. It's actually Damien and his entire band that will be playing at the end of the festival. If there is anything I can do to help you get the message out, just let me know.

Cheers
Dan

I wish I could've gone to this one. But I've heard reports about how fantastic Damien was. We only knew about it because of Dan - thanks!

No worries! Damien was awesome! We've put some photos up on our website if you are interested.

The URL is www.wyd08woll.org. Click on the Journey of the Cross and Icon poster and you will be directed to our interactive photo gallery map. We had 63 events in 13 days, so there's quite a lot of photos there. Find Wollongong on the map and click to find the Light of the Cross Festival photo gallery.

Damien was such a nice guy and was so professional. We couldn't be happier!

Thanks to you all for helping us out with the promotion of the event.

God Bless
Dan

Watching the pictures made me feel like I was there too. You did a terrific job with the photography yourself (and Dee). Brilliant job. All we needed was the music to complete it smile.gif I've posted your message on damienleithonline.com too. to share with the members who were able to attend. Thanks again.

And I completely agree... Damien IS such a nice guy and is so professional... I couldn't be happier cool.gif

Damn. I really want to go to this, but money/time might be a little too tight to make it happen.

Is this the type of thing that might sell out early?
